CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS
The next meetings of the Chief Executive Forum will be held in June 2018. Each forum will provide an update on AFM activity, including our latest lobbying and regulatory engagement, as well as an overview of the items covered in the NED Conference on 5 June. More generally, the aim of this forum is to encourage networking between members and we welcome any further suggestions for discussion.
7 June (Manchester): Commencing with lunch at 12.30pm, the forum will be hosted by The Oddfellows between 1.30pm - 4pm at their offices at Oddfellows House, Deansgate, Manchester M3 3WB. The meeting will be preceded by a Child Tax Fund Forum 10.30am-12.30pm and CEOs are welcome to attend both events.
11 June (London): The London forum will be hosted by LGT Vestra at their offices by the side of Bank station (14 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3NR), commencing at 1.30pm and finishing by 4pm.
Please note that members should not feel geographically constrained if one event is more practical than the other.
The last meeting of the network was a special event focused on the digital revolution in insurance, and its impact on mutuals. This was hosted by Accenture at their Innovation Centre in London on 10 May 2015.
The COO network met on 11 December 2014 in Manchester at the offices of The Oddfellows. Agenda items included Solvency 2, product development, digital development and the operational impact of budget announcements on annuities.
