LV= Named Top Insurer at Industry Awards

LV= has been named general insurer of the year at the prestigious British Insurance Awards that were held earlier this month at the Royal Albert Hall.

The general insurer of the year category recognises companies that demonstrate a commitment to meeting customer needs and delivering a high quality of service.  The judges praised LV= for its excellent customer service, employee engagement and claims service. LV= was also commended for regenerating the brand and producing strong financial results.

Commenting on the win, John O’Roarke, Managing Director of LV= general insurance, said: “The British Insurance Awards showcase the very best within the insurance industry and this award is the benchmark win. LV= has gone through huge changes in the past five years and this is a fantastic accolade for all our people whose energy and enthusiasm has made it all possible. This will take pride of place in our awards cabinet.”

LV= also won the award for marketing initiative of the year. The judges noted LV=’s ability to cut through a cluttered market-place with an exciting campaign.
